Welcome to 27th Annual Plum Kick-off Classic!

The 2024-25 soccer season is quickly approaching and it is not too early to think about late summer and fall soccer tournaments. Every year, Plum Area Youth Soccer hosts the largest soccer tournament in Southwestern Pennsylvania: the Plum Kick-Off Classic. During the 3 day tournament weekend, more than 250 teams from Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia participate in games and tournament activities at our fields in Plum, PA which is an eastern suburb of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Registration for the tournament is done through TeamSnap Tournaments.

Tournament Details

The perfect way to "kick-off" the fall travel season!

  • The tournament is Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 23rd, 24th and 25th
  • This tournament is for TRAVEL TEAMS only playing in PA West Divisions 4, 5, and 6 (or equivalent from other states)
  • We offer multiple levels of competition in many age groups
  • Each team is guaranteed three matches with a play-off system if you advance.
  • Teams are given a game ball and medals will be provided for 1st and 2nd place
  • We do our best to avoid scheduling teams traveling from a distance for Friday games
  • We will have some scheduled matches at 8 and 9 PM under the lights on Friday and Saturday nights
  • Our tournament has been in existence for over 20 years

Referee at the Tournament

With over 200 teams expected at the tournament this year, we will be in need of many referees to fill the schedule. With so many teams participating, it becomes more important for our referees to maintain a safe and professional environment for the children. We welcome all levels of referees as long as you have the proper certifications.
