Thanks for participating in the 25th Annual Plum Kick-off Classic!

We have been working all year long to put together the best tournament possible for all participants. We appreciate your participation in this years tournament and look forward to hearing your feedback throughout the weekend. On this page you will find all of the information necessary for "Game Day". Before you head out to the fields, please read through this site so you have all the information you need! Please check back regularly as we will be updating as we finalize the details.

Game Day Details

Here's all the information you need to be ready on game day. Revised for 2020 Tournament

Teams will have a combination of games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Friday night games will be designated for local teams. Saturday and Sunday games will start at 7:30 AM and will run through 7 PM or later. Venues with multiple fields will have staggered start times to allow for social distancing and less foot traffic to/from/between games.

We will try to accommodate teams as much as possible in the scheduling. Local teams may play all three days. There are a select number of teams that will play two games on Sunday. All teams will play a minimum of three (3) games.

Teams traveling longer distances should plan accordingly for some early Saturday and Sunday games (with the number of teams that we expect to accept this year we may be forced to schedule some teams across Pittsburgh for early games.

BEFORE your game
  • The referees will check-in each team with a standard equipment check. They will NOT review rosters or player cards, however, the coaches must be able to present these documents upon request from the referee or tournament directors.
  • Teams are NOT permitted to enter the field of play until the previous games’ teams have departed the field.  Please remain in the parking lot until that time.  Do not gather at the field entrances.
  • Spectators and coaches are required to wear face masks/coverings at all times.  Players must wear face masks/coverings at all times when not warming up or playing in the game.
AFTER your game
  • When the game is over, go to the middle of the field where the referee will have you sign the game card.
  • CHECK THE SCORE! It is important to verify the score at the conclusion of each game.
  • If a game card is not signed by the coach, the game score cannot be authenticated.
  • There will be no post-game handshakes or fist bumps.  At the end of each game, teams are to show sportsmanship by facing each other and applauding.  Please leave the field as soon as the game is over.

Schedule and Results

The TeamSnap Tournaments app will be your game day go-to for schedule information, alerts, directions, real-time scores, and more! Schedules and brackets will be made available no later than one week before the tournament and provided via links from the tournament website as well as through the TeamSnap Tournaments app via alerts.

When arriving at the Main fields (Larry Mills Park), tell your parents to know what field they are playing on for the first game. We will try and direct them to a lot by that field. Parking will be on-site and is going to be tight. We ask you to car-pool as much as possible. We would greatly appreciate it if you could inform your families to join together in one car, if possible. We will have a parking crew to guide you but we are also asking that you park only a few feet away from the other cars in the lots.

For our other field locations, parking is self-service within the marked areas (as applicable). Please try to be mindful of others and plan to arrive early so that you are not late for a game due to parking woes.

Food & Activities

We will have many activities for the kids and a variety of food and drink options at the main fields (Larry Mills Park). In past years we have had a soccer dart board, photographer, soccer activities, merchandise sales, and much more. Be sure to stop by and play a game of soccer darts at our large inflatable dart board, or test your shooting skills at our inflatable target.

Multiple food options and full concessions will be available at the main fields. In recent years we expanded our food items from hot dogs and hamburgers to pizza, hot sausage, beef brisket and pulled pork and these items will be available again this year. We have also welcomed Oakmont Bakery for delicious breakfast items along with various sweets throughout the day. Light food will be provided at Boyce Park and Plum Creek and general concessions (drinks and snack items) will be available at all other fields.

Each year we are adding new food, vendors and activities at the main fields. Be sure to plan some time during the weekend to stop up and get in on the action!


Once again we will be accepting INDIVIDUAL T-Shirt orders on a pre-order basis via our Online Store. Pre-ordering your Tournament T-Shirt means a much larger selection of sizes and styles! The T-Shirts will have the tournament logo on the front and all the participating team names (if you registered before the deadline) on the back. Individual orders will be grouped by team at the registration/information tent. Your coach or team representative will pick up all shirts ordered by individual team members and distribute to whoever from the team ordered shirts. The deadline for all T-Shirt pre-orders is Monday, August 15th, 2022 at 11:59 PM.

We will have a limited quantity and styles of T-Shirts at the fields during the tournament. It is highly recommended that you pre-order shirts to ensure that you are able to get the style and size that you want.
